FOR AGES 13-18
WELCOME TO REPTON
Repton encourages a conscious equilibrium in all things, encouraging pupils to adopt a healthy balance between their studies, sport, activities of all kinds and rest, so that they can emerge as rounded, multi-faceted individuals.
FROM our HEAD
Who we are, what we do, and what we believe in could not be more pertinent for young people facing the modern world. With 1000 years of education history behind us, the traditional values of encouraging pupils to aim high whilst showing respect for all are still of utmost importance, however, Repton is undoubtedly modern in terms of practice and outlook.
MR MARK SEMMENCE
36th Headmaster of Repton School

“Repton sits comfortably among the top co-ed boarding schools for academic achievement and shines particularly brightly in terms of value added.”

THE SENSE OF BALANCE
OUR five PILLARS
The sense of balance that every Reptonian – from the age of 3 to 18 - benefits from is shaped by our five pillars: Pastoral Care; Academia; Sport; Extra Curricular and our Spirit of Place. At Repton, pupils achieve in the classroom because they never have to prioritise academic achievement over their love of theatre, their aptitude for sport or their passion for music.
VOICES of REPTON
- “Repton was my first choice of senior school because of its strong reputation for academic and sporting excellence. There are no compromises in either one for the other and as both an academic, sporting and drama scholar, this appealed to me and was something that no other school seemed to offer to the same extent.”
- Repton Pupil - “I love so much about my school, but I think my favourite part is the sense of community.”
- Repton Pupil - “What impressed us most about the school were the pupils, who are well-rounded and confident. They are very grounded, not arrogant. The pastoral care in the school is excellent and the school will find and nurture each child’s strengths.”
- Parent - “We can thoroughly recommend Repton School. It is a happy, thriving, busy and purposeful school. There are also ample opportunities for pupils to socialise and all our children have noticeably grown in confidence since starting at Repton.”
- Parent - “The smallish size (whole school can fit in the chapel), caring staff and friendly vibe are among clinchers for families when picking the school.”
