REMARKABLE SET OF A LEVEL RESULTS FOR REPTON IN 2025
Repton School is once again celebrating a remarkable set of A Level and BTEC results. This year, 46% of all entries were awarded an A* or A grade, and 79% achieved grades between A* and B. These impressive outcomes have enabled many Reptonians to secure places at some of the most prestigious universities in the world including Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard and Princeton.
In total, 31 pupils achieved straight A* and A grades. Particular congratulations go to Isabella Chihota, who will read English at the University of Cambridge, William Morrison, who will study Physics at the University of Oxford with an Organ Scholarship at Somerville College, having achieved five A* grades, and Vojtech Procházka will study Mathematics at the University of Oxford. Further specific congratulations go to Annabel Crees (A*A*A*), Louis Cholerton (A*A*A*A), and Yasuaki Fujimoto (A*A*A*A*A).
Increasingly, many Reptonians are securing places on highly selective degree apprenticeship programmes—some of which are more competitive than Oxbridge applications. This year, we particularly commend the following pupils for their outstanding achievements: Ben Hidderley will be joining Deloitte, Joseph Kemsley KPMG, Jacob Ingleston-Orme Rolls Royce, and Matilda Capewell Caterpillar. Special recognition should also be given to Charles Blunt for his achievements in Fine Art A Level; he received a commendation from the exam board for attaining one of the highest marks in the country.
Headmaster Mark Semmence commented:
“At Repton, we encourage every pupil to set their sights high, and it is inspiring to see so many of them realise those ambitions. Their success speaks volumes about the determination, perseverance, and intellectual curiosity they have shown throughout their time here. It also reflects the expertise, care, and encouragement of our dedicated teaching and examination teams, who have supported them at every stage of the journey.
These results are the launchpad for exciting futures, and we are confident our leavers will continue to make their mark far beyond the Arch. The Class of 2025 leaves Repton with a wealth of achievements, both inside and outside the classroom. We congratulate them all and look forward to following their progress as they embrace new challenges and opportunities across the UK and around the world.”
