ADMISSIONS

OVERSEAS applicants

Repton welcomes pupils from countries all over the world, enhancing our community with a global outlook at the heart of a very British boarding education. As a pre-eminent co-educational boarding school, Repton provides a broad-based curriculum with outstanding pastoral care and high quality teaching in a traditional yet modern setting.

We are always delighted to welcome prospective overseas families to visit Repton – it is the best way to experience our community and will aid you in making the correct decision for your family. Your visit will be tailored to your own unique requirements and arranged specifically according to your needs. If, however, a visit is not possible due to geographical restrictions, a member of Repton’s Admissions Team can give you a live guided version of our Virtual Tour.

VISAS

For all those pupils who require a visa, Repton is licensed to sponsor pupils under the Points Based Immigration System (Child Student Route) and can issue a CAS for those applicants.

Upon your successful acceptance of offer, the School will open a case file on your behalf with an expert third party organisation, Holmes & Partners. They will contact the families or agents to commence and manage the entire visa application process, including issuing the CAS.

There will be an additional charge for this, which is detailed in our Fees List. This is added to the Michaelmas Term bill only in the year that a visa is first applied or on renewal for entry to the Sixth Form.

DID YOU KNOW...

"Thank you again for all you have done to ensure Maeve settles in. We have never seen her happier at school."

GUARDIANSHIP

All pupils whose parents are based abroad must have an English-speaking guardian in the UK who can be responsible for arrangements at the beginning and end of each term (transport to and from school, tickets, passports, visas etc.) and for the care of pupils during Half-Terms, exeats and in emergencies. Ideally this should be someone local who can take an interest in the pupil’s welfare and life at school and who is prepared to attend parents’ meetings and support school functions such as plays, concerts and sports fixtures. Suitable guardians can be either a direct relative who is resident in the UK and over the age of 25 or a Professional Guardianship Company.

Whilst we cannot recommend any specific guardian or guardianship company, many of our parents consult The Association for Education and Guardians of International Students.
