Visiting Repton School

A REPTON visit

We understand how important it is for your family to have a strong sense of what a Repton education has to offer. The best way to experience Repton is to visit us in person.  We invite prospective families either register to attend one of our Open Days or to book a personal tour, guided by Repton’s Deputy Head Admissions.

An Open Day is the best way to experience everything Repton School can offer your child. You will have the opportunity to meet our pupils and dedicated staff, learn more about our award-winning pastoral care, world-class facilities, and how, as a school, we foster an environment that promotes a balance between academic studies and extra curricular activities.

We hold an Open Day for 13+ entry at the start of every Michaelmas Term. Our next Open Day date is below:

When you visit Repton, the experience is uniquely tailored to your individual requirements. A tour will be arranged specifically for your family, and all our focus will be on your experience. A visit to Repton will normally consist of:

  • A meeting with the Headmaster
  • Your first hour-long tour will take in Repton’s extensive facilities, including our heritage site, Art, Drama and Music facilities, Repton Sports Centre and the impressive Science Priory.
  • Additional elements will be included according to individual requirements

“Repton School has a very balanced education. We were looking for a school that offered an elite sports program without compromising on academic education. Tilly has the opportunity to be part of an exceptional hockey program which is developing her as a player, whilst maintaining a high standard of education in the classroom.”

- Current Repton Parent

It may be beneficial to explore our virtual tour to gain an understanding of what is on offer at Repton prior to your personal visit. If joining us in person is difficult for you, perhaps because of geographical distance, we can arrange a guided version of the virtual tour live online with a member of our Admissions team.

The majority of our School is accessible to all. It is a large site and includes a number of historic and older buildings, access to which may require preparation in advance. At the point of arranging the visit, our Admissions Manager will clarify with you any access requirements and make what few restrictions there are clear to you prior to your visit, preparing the site where required and wherever possible.
