THIRTEEN REPTONIANS ACCEPTED INTO THE PRESTIGIOUS NATIONAL YOUTH THEATRE

Repton School is proud to announce that thirteen of our talented Drama pupils have secured places in the esteemed National Youth Theatre (NYT) following a highly competitive audition process earlier this year.

This exceptional achievement highlights the remarkable dedication, creativity, and talent of our pupils, and we extend our congratulations to:

Cameron B, Scarlet B, Michael C, Charlotte C, Zara E, Eleanor H, Freya L, Mia M, Sophia M, Sophie S, BeBe S, Sophia S, and Lottie W.

The National Youth Theatre is renowned for its professional-level training, industry insight, and the invaluable opportunities it provides to young people passionate about performance. To gain a place is a significant milestone for any aspiring actor. With only 8% of candidates nationwide securing places, Repton’s success rate of 67% is particularly noteworthy and a testament to the quality of our pupils’ preparation and performance.

This collective accomplishment reflects the continued strength and ambition of Repton’s Drama Department. Each year, we see the standard of acting rise across the school, with an increasing number of pupils receiving offers from the UK’s top drama schools. Alongside this, many pupils are achieving distinction in their LAMDA Acting Medal grades, further showcasing the depth of skill and passion for the performing arts at Repton.

We are proud of all our pupils and of the thriving culture of creativity, confidence, and excellence that defines Drama at Repton School.
