Erica Sanders returns to Repton as Director of Hockey
Repton is thrilled to welcome former pupil Erica Sanders back to the School as Director of Hockey.
Erica has played at the highest level of the game. She represented England and Great Britain at senior international level, spent nine seasons in the English Premier League and three more in the Netherlands, and won three English Premier League titles. She was also part of Repton Hockey Club's indoor title-winning side in 2022/23.
Her coaching career has developed alongside it. She has worked with pupils and club players across a wide range of age groups, served as an assistant coach with the England U18 girls' programme, and is a member of the Great Britain Advanced Coach Programme.
Erica spoke with The Hockey Paper about her coaching philosophy and the mindset she brings to her new role: 'My goal is to build on what has gone before: helping the next generation of Repton hockey players reach their potential, whatever that looks like for each of them'
Erica's path has taken her from Repton pupil to international player and coach. She now returns to help the next generation follow it.
