REPTON PUPILS EXCEL ON THE NATIONAL STAGE

Repton School is delighted to celebrate the exceptional achievements of four pupils who have secured coveted places in the National Youth Choir of Great Britain, one of the country’s most respected and competitive choral programmes.

Emma M, Anya R, Rose dS, and Isabella T have each been recognised for their outstanding vocal ability, musicality, and dedication.

In addition to her choral success, Isabella T has also gained a prestigious place as a harpist with the National Children’s Orchestra. Securing positions in two national-level ensembles is an incredible accomplishment.

These national appointments reflect the strength of Repton’s music programme and the dedication of pupils who strive for excellence both within and beyond the classroom. We are so proud of Emma, Anya, Rose, and Isabella, and we look forward to seeing their talents flourish further as they represent Repton on the national stage.

Reflecting on the achievements, Katie Staggs, Director of Music, shared:

Participation in national ensembles offers exceptional musical and social enrichment. The standards achieved by the National Youth Choir of Great Britain and the National Children’s Orchestra are outstanding, and pupils return from these courses inspired and energised by their experiences. I hope that Emma, Aanya, Rose and Isabella will encourage many more of our young musicians to audition for national ensembles in the future. My warmest congratulations to them all.
