Repton pupils celebrate outstanding A Level results

Repton School is celebrating its strongest set of A Level results in recent years, with almost a quarter of all grades awarded at A*. Nearly half (49%) of entries were graded A* or A, and 79% were graded A* to B. Twenty-two pupils achieved straight A* or A grades across their subjects.

Nearly 80% of the Class of 2026 will now take up places at their first-choice universities. Repton leavers are heading to some of the best universities in the UK, including Oxford and Cambridge, and a growing number are set to study at leading international institutions such as Harvard, McGill, and Louisiana State University. Several will combine their degrees with elite sporting programmes, as they continue to compete at the highest level alongside their academic work.

Mark Semmence, Headmaster of Repton School, said:

"Results day is the moment when a great deal of quiet, unglamorous work finally becomes visible. What has struck me about this year group is not only what they have achieved but the way they have gone about it, supporting one another through two demanding years without losing their focus and ensuring they remain as a collective. We are incredibly ambitious for every pupil at Repton, and these results will enable this cohort to do exactly what they hoped to do next. They leave with our great admiration as well as our thanks."
