As we move full steam ahead into the exam season, we are proud to announce that several of our pupils have received offers from top universities to study medicine, dentistry, and veterinary medicine. This remarkable achievement is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and passion for pursuing careers in healthcare.

The path to securing a place in these competitive fields is rigorous and demanding. Our pupils have demonstrated exceptional academic prowess, resilience, and a genuine commitment to their chosen professions. From excelling in science subjects to participating in extracurricular activities and community service, they have shown that they possess the qualities necessary to thrive in the demanding environments of medical, dental, and veterinary schools.

Our aspiring doctors have received offers from a range of medical schools across the country - Jenna L from the Universities of Cambridge, Edinburgh, Bristol, and Exeter, Lemuel M from the University of Brighton and Jacob W from the Universities of Exeter and Queen’s, Belfast. They have navigated a challenging selection process, including multiple mini-interviews (MMIs), personal statements, and entrance exams such as the UCAT and BMAT. Their success is a reflection of their academic excellence and their deep-seated desire to make a difference.

Equally impressive are our pupils who have been offered places to study veterinary medicine. Their passion for animal health and welfare, coupled with their academic achievements and experiences gained through a variety of work placements in veterinary practices, farms and more have secured Poppy B offers from the Universities of Nottingham and Surrey, and Thorin B an offer from Harper and Keele Veterinary School.

Our future dentists have also secured places in their desired dental schools. Their journeys have been just as lengthy, with the application process requiring hands-on experience through shadowing and volunteering. Congratulations to Shaan S for securing an offer from the University of Liverpool, and Old Reptonian Emily H for her offer from the University of Sheffield.

Repton's emphasis on a balanced education has ensured that our pupils are well-rounded individuals ready to tackle the challenges of higher education and beyond. Our dedicated teachers and higher education team have shown unwavering support for the pupils, providing exceptional guidance and resources, with Dr Ingleston-Orme helping the pupils prepare for entrance exams, interviews, and rigorous applications throughout.

Congratulations once again to our future doctors, dentists, and veterinarians! Your journey is just beginning, and we are excited to see all that you will accomplish in the years to come.
