HOCKEY
The most notable sport at Repton is Hockey and this is evident with the game being introduced to pupils in Year 1. Led by former international hockey player, Russell Anderson, and supported by several experienced Level 2 hockey coaches, the programme aims to excite, develop and challenge pupils of all abilities.
Offering a balance of comprehensive fixtures on a Wednesday and Saturday alongside evening activities and weekly games sessions, pupils have seen national success in IAPS and In2Hockey competitions in U11, U12 and U13 age groups.
Further to Repton Prep's own extensive facilities, pupils have access to Repton's world-class campus which is a short mini-bus drive away. Pupils in Years 7 and 8 regularly use Repton’s water-based Astroturf for training and matches, with focus also dedicated to developing our indoor hockey programme.
