THE REPTON
FOUNDATION

Building on the 1557 legacy of Repton School’s founder, Sir John Port, the objectives of the Repton Foundation are to:

  • Offer life-changing bursary places to pupils who have the talent, but not the financial mean, to benefit from a Repton education.
  • Invest in key development projects, such as designing new facilities and restoring old heritage buildings, to ensure the School offers pupils the very best learning environment in which to thrive.

Throughout the years, Repton has benefited from the generosity of Old Reptonians, parents of current and former pupils, and current and former staff. This generosity has helped keep Repton at the forefront of independent boarding and day schools, with a campus which is the envy of many, and a cohort of pupils built on talent and diversity of thought, rather than financial wherewithal.

To maintain this position, and shape the global citizens of the future, our aim is to continue to invest in both people and buildings. We have an ambitious Strategic Development Plan to see us through to our 470th anniversary in 2027 and beyond. We warmly invite our community to be part of this next stage of our development, and join the many others who have already lent their support to future-proofing Repton.

“Each in their generation, have built truly and wisely that invisible building of the spirit wherein we walk today.”

TRANSFORMATIONAL BURSARIES – CHANGING LIVES FOR THE BETTER

A transformational bursary has the potential to change the life of a recipient, equating to at least 100% fee remission, rising in some cases in order to fund the complete experience. With the support of our partners, parents, alumni, and friends, we look to the facilitation of substantial social impact through our transformational bursary and community outreach programmes.
