Match Report:

Disciplined bowling and some very good catches helped Repton to restrict the visitors to a fairly moderate score. Liam Kavanagh's spell of 4 overs was outstanding in its accuracy and penetration and included a wicket maiden, a rare gem in 20/20 cricket.
After losing Kieran Fenton quite early, Repton had the heart of their innings ripped out by a hat-trick by one of the opposition. However, a solid, dependable knock from Matt Goodacre was supported quite well by others. Nevertheless, wickets continued to fall and no lasting partnership was cemented until Tom Bacon and Will Hughes came together. A heroic partnership which required nerves of steel saw them put on 27 runs to win the game for Repton and secure the Midlands title. Well played !
