Match Report:

There is no doubt that Uppingham were the more skilled side, and this, (coupled with a definite height advantage!) meant that they dominated play from the outset. However, I was pleased that the Repton side did not let their heads go down and continued fighting throughout the match. Ultimately, however, we simply made too many unforced errors which lost us possession of the ball. Although A. Broadhurst demonstrated some accurate shooting, we lost the ball too easily in mid-court, which limited our opportunities to shoot at goal. Effective marking still remains a challenge and we need to ensure that we are taking side and back line passess far more quickly and efficiently.
