Match Report: Due to the fact that our team has been plagued with illness and injury this term, this was the first time we have been able to put out our full team. In my opinion, the Repton side was the more skilled and having taken a comfortable lead from the outset, the final score is perhaps a little disappointing.

What was noteable was the way in which the girls transferred the skills they had learnt in training so effectively to a match situation. M. Galbraith had an excellent game; her accurate shooting and timely interceptions ensured that Repton took the lead early on, scoring from our first Centre. M. Perkeitt- Brown and A. Findlay worked hard in defence, making the most of the backline passes to clear the ball from the Circle. C. Brooks and C. Evans moved effectively around the Circle, crearting  a number of scoring opportunities for the Attack. We are now marking the opposition much more effectively, making it easier for us to intercept their passes. We must now continue to work on the accuracy of our passes, ensuring that we take the time to think carefully and ensure we are making the right decisions. Nevertheless, a promising match ahead of the Chellaston game on Tuesday.
