 Kit: Blue skirt and shirt + white socks. No hoodies! Remember to remove jewellery and to bring water bottles. Match start time is 2.30pm. Estimated time of return: 6.15pm so a late tea is likely.

Match Report:

The U14B team had a hard fought match against Oundle, losing the game 32-12. The team gained a great deal of experience from the match, and have already been putting some of these lessons into training this week.

Oundle got into the game quickly, taking the lead in the first quarter by 9 goals to 3. They had some good and accurate shooters, and the Repton defence had to work hard to keep them out of the circle. In the second quarter Oundle took their lead further leading by 19 goals to 5. These Repton goals were hard fought and Repton did well to keep their heads up and keep working to turn the ball around and feed the circle.

A few switches around in the team for the third quarter worked well and in this quarter Repton won 6 goals to the 3 scored by the opposition. This was an excellent turn around and showed just how much spirit this team has. Oundle came back strong in the final quarter taking the match by a final total of 32 to 12.

With just seven girls to play on the day, every member of the team played some very good netball, stayed determined and kept playing hard to the very end of the game. This will have been excellent preparation for their next match against Worksop after half term.
