U14 National Champions!

U14 National Champions!

Repton’s U14 girls put on a sensational performance to be crowned National Champions this afternoon, beating Arnold School of Blackpool 3-1 in the final.

After scraping through an extremely difficult group, Repton found themselves a goal down with 3 minutes to go. But an incredible fight back, including a goal from Camilla Chantler and two from top-scorer Erica Sanders saw Repton victorious.

A tremendous result for the girls, and Repton’s first ever U14 National Hockey title – congratulations to all involved.

Coach Simon Clague said: ‘This is an exceptional achievement, being the first time we have won the U14 title, and especially as the girls have only been playing together for a short time – they are an exceptionally talented group of girls.’

Good luck must now go to the U18 team, who will start the defence of their title on Thursday, aiming to be crowned champions for the seventh consecutive year!
