The U15 XI cricket team has continued their recent fine form by winning the Midlands finals of the National U15 Twenty 20 Cricket Competition. Having won the Derbyshire title with three good wins over Derby Grammar, Tibshelf and Dronfield, the team has gone on to beat Leicestershire champions, Loughborough Grammar, and Shropshire champions, Shrewsbury. Special mention should go to Kieron Fenton who scored a magnificent 116* against Loughborough GS last Friday.
The final was played at Repton yesterday against Warwick School and please click here for a full match report. The team will now represent the Midlands in the National finals at Arundel, West Sussex in September.
