There may have been a change to the Senior Inter-House Basketball format this year but the outcome was the same! The Cross triumphed on Sunday, winning the competition for the third consecutive year, with wins against Latham (30 - 3), New House (37 - 15) and The Priory (18 - 15).

Captained by Peter Sun, The Cross team benefited from a combination of existing talent and new blood. Peter Sun, Francis Song, Jones Tidy and Ned Morris had all been involved in last year's Junior and Senior winning sides. This year, however, our chances were enhanced by the arrival of all 6ft 7inches of Jimmy McDonald, our Jamaican cricketer, as well as the mercurial talents of Mark Jia, Jeffrey Chow and Joe McLaven.
Each boy made a huge contribution over the course of the afternoon and it was equally pleasing to see so many of the other boys from The Cross, from B Block to the Upper Sixth, coming down to cheer on the Red and Blacks!
Well done to all those who were involved and I hope that this inspires the Juniors to match their Senior counterparts' efforts in their competition, held shortly after Half Term!
