Victoria Leavesley (L6M) has been invited to be part of the England Team in the 2010 Working Hunter Pony event at Cavan in Ireland this summer.
The event itself will take place from July 28th to the 31st and Victoria will be riding her pony Carnsdale Mighty Mouse. This is the third year for the horse and rider partnership and they have been having another superb season together.
The competition in Ireland comprises of three parts – dressage, show jumping and working hunter pony. Victoria will now be working towards this very important event in the coming weeks as she prepares Mighty Mouse for the trip to Ireland.
As well as being selected for the England team the pairing also qualified on Sunday 6th June for the Horse of the Year show. A superb afternoon was had with the novice pony – winning the novice 15 hands and being named Reserve Champion qualifying for the Summer championships in August.
