The lower-sixth organised a fantastic evening's entertainment as part of the House's sale-of-work fundraising campaign. Having chosen a 1960s theme for this year's event, every effort was made to create the right atmosphere.

Guests and the lower-sixth waiters alike dressed upin a range of 60s outfits (including psychedelic, hippie, tie-dye, mod and mini-skirts); the house band played hits by the Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Johnny Cash and Jimi Hendrix; the menu reflected popular dishes of the deacde too (including Cheese on sticks, Prawn cocktail, Beef Bourginon, Coq au Vin, Trifle, Black Forest Gateau) and a 60s Quiz tested out the guests' knowledge/memories of the decade!

The evening was a great success and it was fantastic to have such wonderful support from the parents of boys in the house - thank you very much indeed for contributing so generously to the fundraising effort and, just as importantly, making such an effort with your outfits!!
