SWIMMING

Repton is home to a superb six-lane, 25m pool facility that was the main training venue for World Champion Adam Peaty MBE in the four-year cycle leading up to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Reptonians have extensive access to the pool and coaching, with all pupils offered dedicated swimming sessions throughout the week.

In 2019, Repton created its own performance training group which was subsequently granted fully affiliated club status by Swim England. This means that Repton is not only represented in schools’ competitions but also within the Swim England competition framework.

Our swimmers are supported by a talented coaching team led by Director of Swimming Ash Morris. With experienced coaches and enviable facilities, Repton’s swimming programme is amongst the best in the county, offering a world-class training programme alongside a world-class education. The most promising swimmers have pool sessions supported by specialist Strength and Conditioning coaches twice a week and access to a bespoke S&C Gym in the Sports Clinic to aid physical progress and rehabilitation.
