Swimming at Repton

Repton is fortunate to have a superb six lane 25m facility that was the main training venue for Olympic 100m Breaststroke Gold Medallist Adam Peaty before the Rio Olympics.

The extensive access that pupils can have to both the pool and coaching allows us to provide a swimming programme that any elite or aspirational swimmer would be keen to be part of. Repton School operates in association with City of Derby Swimming Club to do this and offer a unique all year round programme that gives talented young athletes access to one of the UK's leading swimming clubs whilst being able to enjoy the opportunities and support at a leading co-educational boarding school. All without leaving the school site.

This partnership creates an elite programme with up to nine sessions offered per week and flexible training hours. In addition, swimmers have access to the onsite recently completed state of the art Strength and Conditioning Gym and the school provides a leading, tailored academic programme and the highest level of pastoral care within our boarding houses.

Scholarships are available for the most talented performers with more information about our scholarship programme here.

For more information about joining Repton School to be part the programme in association with City of Derby SC, please contact Ian Pollock, Director of Sport (imp@repton.org.uk).
