Superb Seniors Storm to House Football Final

Superb Seniors Storm to House Football Final

The Senior House football team has excelled itself at the beginning of this new year to qualify for the final of the Senior House competition in 1st place. A new format has been introduced whereby every House plays each other in a round robin league competition of five 30-minute games. The Senior boys secured victories against Orchard (2-1), New (2-1), Cross (3-1) and School (2-0) to add to their hard-fought draw against Priory (0-0). This put Latham top of the table with 13 points, having scored more goals than any other House. The final will be played at the end of term against Priory who have conceded fewer goals than any other House - it should be a fantastic game! The Reserves battled hard in their attempt to qualify for the final but came up just 1 point short, finishing in third place in their league. It was a promising start to the season for the Juniors too who secured wins against School House (2-1) and Orchard (5-1) giving them some mid-table respectability! Well done to all the boys who played with such fine spirit and best of luck to the Seniors for the final.
