Successful applicants to the prestigious Villiers Park

It is wonderful to be able to report the success in three Mitre girls - Sophie Davies L6M, Emma Monteiro L6M and Kiki Betts Dean L6M on their application to courses at the prestigious “Villiers Park”. Sophie will attend a course in Classical Studies entitled “New Approaches to Old ideas” in November. Emma’s application has been successful to a course in Drama and theatre Studies named “Aspects of Performance”, which she will attend in December. Also in December Kiki will attend a course in History entitled “History: Urban Britain - Medieval and Modern”.

The courses offered at Villiers Park take pupils beyond the remit of A Level specifications and offer the opportunity to sample a taste of degree level study in fields which may be of interest to Sixth Form students. They are very competitive, and the girls have done superbly to win their places. We are delighted that all three girls have been successful and hope that these courses will provide some important insight ahead of the girls making their university applications next term.
