Steeplechase

Although the Orchard were not the official winners of this year’s Steeplechase, Orchard boys (in the forms of Greg Fearn and Frank Flight, respectively) did win the first and second places in the juniors. We also had some strong finishes in the seniors from Sam Armstrong, Shintaro Kajiwara and Matt Conway, amongst others. This is never many people’s favourite day, and some of us had to simply endure it. Nevertheless, endure we did, and it was a true demonstration of house spirit that everyone got stuck in and brought home the bacon.
