Mitre retained the sports day title today, winning the cup for a consecutive year, and narrowly beating The Abbey by 131 points to 126. Unfortunately the second day of competition (the track events) was cancelled, but that left the Mitre narrowly in the lead. Cups were also presented to Alex Hall who won the Senior Vixtrix Ludorum, Phoebe Walters who won the Junior Victrix Ludorum, Hannah Barker who won the overall girls shield for Endeavour, and also to Alex Hall for her victory in the Senior girls discuss competition. The fact that Mitre competed in every event made the difference and it was a delight to see every girl out either supporting or representing the House. Well done girls on a wonderful end of term success to add to the huge collection of trophy’s from across the year.
