Singing Sensation

The Priory was once again controversially 'robbed' of silvery recognition in the music competitions this year. The Unison entry of The Jacksons' 'Blame it on the Boogie' was both tuneful and entertaining with the dance moves confidently walking  the line between 'street and discreet'. A special mention must go to conductor Patrick Tuffy who brought the house together with his usual panache. The Harmony, a marvellous arrangement of Take That's 'Patience' was very well sung by messrs. Leese, Hutchby, Croft, Golding, Novotny, Tuffy, Dingwall-Fordyce and Storer, and was a real credit to the hard work of all concerned. On an individual note: many congratulations to William Dingwall-Fordyce for his Grade 8 distinction in his singing examinations this year.
