Saturday 25th September proved a particularly fruitful day for Latham's footballers as they excelled in the various school fixtures against Shrewsbury . Elliot Carlile scored the winner in the 4th XI's 2-1 victory, with Daniel Gillbanks putting in a man-of-the-match performance, not to mention Hugo Campbell-Hill's heroics in goal. William Johnson scored in the U14C's 2-1 defeat but Fergus Polglase's goal helped the U14B side to a 4-0 victory. Pride of place, however, goes to Daniel Sentance who has not only forced his way into the U16A team this year but also scored a brace in their 7-0 victory over Shrewsbury. It is terrific to see the influence of Latham's footballers across all the age ranges - long may it continue!
