The Senior Fives players made it an historic four titles in four years on the afternoon of Monday 15th March. The first pair of Tom Cosford and Josh Moore destroyed their opponents from Priory 12-0, 12-0 before the third pair, Max Riley and Oliver Dancey, also won in two, slightly closer, sets. Latham's second pair of Huw Rees-Jones and Charlie Twigg therefore did not need to play which was lucky because they were busy becoming Midlands U18 Hockey Champions at Cannock! Latham has now lifted the Fives Trophy every year since JELD became housemaster - long may it continue! Special mention should also go to the Junior side who fought brilliantly to make it through to their final where they just missed out in an extremely close contest with New House. The team of Hugill, Sentance, Coleman, Davis, Frost, Berry (and guest player Garland for the semi-final against School) did the House proud and hopes remain high for the future.
