The Mitre L6th have spent the evening peeling, slicing, cooking and packing freshly made apple crumbles for “Sale of Work” this Saturday. The whole house picked apples from the Mitre orchard yesterday afternoon and these have been sorted, washed and dried ready for the apple crumbles. Orders for the crumbles have already been placed by eager members of staff and it looks as though the apple stall will be a big hit again this year.
Mitre are also setting up their own radio station for Saturday afternoon and will play song requests throughout the event. We will be offering warming hot chocolate on what promises to be a proper winter afternoon, for those of you who may need to warm up! We are again very lucky to have the support of Mr Leavesley, who will be supporting the Mitre by running a paintballing stall. There is lots to get involved in, and we look forward to welcoming lots of Mitre parents, siblings, grandparents and guardians on Saturday afternoon.
