Sale of Work 2010 – where the money goes now

A number of Mitre Girls have this week been involved in decisions for the allocation of funds, now that the Sale of Work money has been finalised.

The following charities were proposed by Mitre, and have been allocated money from some of the £28,400 raised by all the Houses on Sale of Work Day. This sum is a mark of the generosity of parents and friends of Repton School, the imaginative fund raising by all of the Houses and the hard work of the L6th who have managed to raise a wonderful total in this year’s fund raising events. It is wonderful to see this kind of charitable initiative having such an impact on the local, national and international community and we are delighted that so many of the suggestions made from the House have been included in the final allocation of money:
