All you need is a little imagination.... Friday night was such a warm summer's evening that we decided to hold a spontaneous beach party after prep. We had hammocks, a chiminea for roasting marshmallows, popcorn, cheese and biscuits, cloudy lemonade, cool tunes and the buzz of excited conversation under a clear sky with twinkling stars and a warm balmy evening... all that was missing was the beach!
The girls gathered around the chiminea to roast marshmallows (crisp and chewy on the outside and warm and runny in the middle..yummy!).
We made good use of all the new garden furniture as well as the hammocks.
It was so lovely to see all the girls together socialising and catching up on the week's events. Ellie showed us how to do ballet, Lauren how to get your head back onto your foot, B Block how to do wheelbarrow races and A Block how to stargaze with your feet!

So bed time came and the girls went to bed happy and full of marshmallows, brushing off the golden sand from their feet.....
