Remembrance Service

School commemorated Remembrance Day this year with a large number of parents and local residents. The service included the 'Libera Me' from Faure's Requiem which was sung by choir and congregation and also Elgar's 'They are at Rest' sung by the choir.

Our guest of honour was Major John Cotterill MBE of the Mercian Regiment who gave a memorable sermon in which he drew on diary extracts of an Old Reptonian in the First World War. The entire School processed to The Garth where a wreath was laid at the foot of the war memorial by the Head Prefects.
