As Lathamites packed their bags and left the House on Saturday 2nd July, the painters and decorators arrived in Tanners Lane at 8am on Monday 4th. After a complete refurbishment back in 2005, this summer sees Latham enjoy a mini-refurbishment and the boys have enjoyed the past few weeks choosing new curtains, carpets, paint colours, and even a new set of sofas for both the common rooms. The yard is to get a new set of wire fencing, not to mention a brand new, heavy-duty basketball net, and even the pool table is to be rejuventated! In total around £50,000 is being spent on the House over July and August, and we know that the boys will really appreciate the improvements they find on Wednesday 31st August.
