Record Results

Last year's U6th pupils are celebrating record A-level results, with 26.6% of all entries being awarded an A* grade and 64.7% of entries receiving either an A* or A grade.

Fifty seven pupils achieved either straight A* or A grades and this, together with the fourteen Oxbridge offers, represents an excellent year for the School.

Commenting on the results, Headmaster, Robert Holroyd said: “The 2011 A Level examinations have seen pupils achieve our best ever results and, of course, everyone is delighted.

“The number of A*s awarded to our pupils is outstanding and this shows that the School’s achievements are consistently high and still continue to grow.

“Congratulations must also go to our staff, who have worked very hard to help achieve these outstanding results.”
