Outstanding Senior Hockey Record Continues

In appalling conditions of torrential rain that stopped play for 5 minutes the senior hockey team showed their true spirit once again. The supporters remained throughout the storm to see their side win the semi-final 2 – 0 against Mitre in a hard fought game which saw Emily Gething Lewis playing against her sister in goal. Braving the rain on the touchline were many of the girl’s parents who had come to support cheering on their daughters against the Garden. They were rewarded by one of the best goals of the season, Meg Byas firing in to the top of the net from the top of the D. Everyone played their hearts out in a real team effort eventually Field won 2 – 0, a superb effort – well done!  Since 2006 Field has only been beaten once in this competition an outstanding record!!
