Old Reptonians Sarah Parkin (F 2010) and Caroline Eldred (G 2007) enjoyed some sporting success in the desert this weekend, at the prestigious Inter-Gulf Netball Championships in Al Ain.
Sarah, currently spending a year as a Gap Student at Repton Dubai, was the youngest member of the Dubai A team which were crowned Champions, while Caroline represented the Dubai B team.
Sarah, pictured here with her victorious team mates, played her part as Dubai defeated reigning champions Abu Dhabi 14-7 in the final. A full report of their victory can be seen here.
The girls join a growing cohort of young ORs involved in high-level sport in the Emirates, including Archie Village (S 2005), pictured here playing for Dubai Harlequins rugby side, and Calum Setterington (S 2010) who is Team Manager for the Dubai Wasps side, which features Repton Dubai staff and former Samoan internationals Trevor Leota and Apollo Perolini.
