Mus Soc's Elijah

It was lovely to see the members of Repton village and Repton School come together to give such a sparkling performance of this beautiful oratorio. Under the talented leadership of John Bowley, Director of Music at Repton School, the school orchestra and the choir brought off a really accomplished performance. Six girls in the choir sang a trio in the middle which blended beautifully and we were lucky enough to welcome four incredible soloists to the stage, Elizabeth Meister, Louise-Poole, Paul Hopwood and Matthew Brook as Elijah. It will be exciting to see what is chosen to sing next year, I am sure the members will rise to another challenge so please come along!
