Congratulations to Carla Peters (L6F) who has been awarded a Nuffield Science Bursary. These highly competitive awards offer students the chance to work alongside practising scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians and Carla will be spending her placement, during the summer holidays, at Twycross Zoo to study animal behaviour and interactions in primates with their world-leading researchers.
Head of Biology, Dr Stuart Ingleston said, “We are all really thrilled for Carla. This will be a terrific experience for her and will help to develop her research and interpersonal skills. It will also be a useful addition to her UCAS form as she is hoping to read Biology at Oxford.”
