Mitre wins Caroline Tyler Relays!

It was a wonderful afternoon of competition which saw Mitre, winning the Caroline Tyler relays, with superb performances from all the girls and Mitre supporters. The new B Block set the standard, winning the race with Jessica Variava, Clare Gething -Lewis, Georgina Whitehouse and Phoebe Roberts swimming superbly in their first competitive fixture for the Mitre. The O Block team also swam superbly, and gained an excellent 2nd place in their relay. They were followed by the Sixth Form who made it a second win of the afternoon for the Mitre team. The Medley relay was the most exciting part of the afternoon, and here again the Mitre swam brilliantly, going on to win the eight length race by nearly a length. It was entirely appropriate to see Eleanor Tyler as Captain of the Mitre team collecting the trophy, and a wonderful testimony to the House, who in a sea of pink and blue gave their all to helping her achieve this goal in her final year at Repton.
