The Mitre girls would like to invite you to our annual charity dinner on Saturday 9th October. The format for the evening will be drinks on the private side, followed by a delicious three course dinner (including wine or beer) and a programme of entertainment. There will also be some performances by girls from the Mitre as part of the evening and the infamous Mitre auction. Tickets are priced at £20 per person, with all proceeds going to the various charities that our Sale of Work fund-raising event is supporting. Last year, thanks mainly to your generosity, the Mitre raised over £4,000 towards the final total.
The auction at the Mitre “Sale of Work” dinner has always been an integral part of the evening, and last year many parents kindly provided many opportunities and goodies. These included; a Jo Malone gift set, hamper of Christmas food, homemade Christmas cake, Bed and Breakfast stay, a silver hallmarked picture frame and even a signed Tim Henman tennis shirt. As always, we would be extremely grateful for any donations of prizes, however large or small, for our auction and raffle.
We are very much looking forward to the evening, and hope that many of you will be able to join us. The Lower Sixth girls are already busy preparing the evening for you and will look forward to waitressing for you on this occasion!
