The Mitre took the lead this weekend with the inaugural theme night at bar!
The U6th spent much of “Sale of Work” afternoon preparing for the evening and it was wonderful to walk in and see bar set up for Halloween. Alongside the spiders, ghosts and witches there was also a table of “treats” for the Sixth Form to enjoy complete with Halloween cupcakes and mountains of sweets.
The girls had also chosen to provide Dominoes pizzas which were very well received.
The prize for the “best dressed” went to Joshua Boyle who came dressed as Count Dracula!
Overall, a very successful evening. We very much look forward to transforming bar again later in the year and hope that this will be one of many “theme” nights for the JCR! Many congratulations to Emily Boyce (JCR committee member) and her team who did a great job on this occasion.
