Mitre girls awarded music colours

Many congratulations to the following Mitre girls who have been awarded their music colours for their significant contribution to music in school

The chosen recipients are:

Hannah Fullelove U6M
Eva Lo U6M
Kit Rees U6M
Emma Monteiro U6M

Only 21 pupils in school are entitled to wear music colour badges so this is a very significant achievement for this gifted set of musicians. In addition to these girls Charlotte Graham 5M and Kiki Betts Dean U6M have already been awarded their colours for music.

Mitre girls are strongly represented amongst the leading musicians of the school and it is wonderful to see a growing tradition of musicians joining the House. Having joined the school last year Kiki Betts Dean U6M has shown considerable leadership skills and been appointed as Head Chorister this year. This is a superb achievement and is a mark of Kiki’s talent both as a singer and as someone who will be able to lead the Repton choir with over 100 members this year. It is also wonderful to report that Eva Lo U6M will be the Secretary of Concert Band. This is a wonderful achievement for Eva and a mark of her dedication and commitment to music over the course of the last four years.
