Over the course of the last few months we have been working hard at building up a gallery of pupils art work in the corridors of the House. Pupils past and present have kindly donated work to be displayed as part of this initiative and the work has transformed the stairwells and corridor areas.
Ranging from the final A2 pieces of talented old girls such as Polly Warrack and Katie Mellard (Leavers, 2009) to the B Block scholarship work of Mia Frase there is a great deal of superb work on show. It is lovely to see the collection building to include preparation work for GCSE and also some of the final GCSE pieces from last year, such as the much admired “Stag” by Lucy Watson.
We look forward to continuing this transformation with the wonderful support of the art department and to seeing the work from this year developing from some of our very talented artists.
