Mitre academic prize winners, 2011

Many congratulations to the many Mitre girls who have been awarded academic prizes this year, to be given out at Speech Day on July 2nd. It is wonderful to see so many of our girls being rewarded for their academic excellence and these prizes reflect the hard work and consistency of effort they have put into their studies this year.

Especially of note is that Kiki Betts Dean U6M has been awarded the Lorimer Prize for 2010-11. This prize is given by Mr R. C. Lorimer and is awarded to an U6th pupil from overseas who has made an all round contribution to the life of the school. Kiki has had an incredibly industrious two year career at Repton. This year her many achievements have included being Head of choir, performing in the Lit Soc sketches and performing as a backing singer in the Lent Cabaret. Alongside this she has also made a major contribution to the life of the House – writing and performing the House Unison entry as well as helping to lead the House in Unison.

We very much look forward to congratulating all the girls as they receive their prizes this year.
