The May meeting of the MFL society proved to be a fantastic introduction to the art, architecture and culture of Paris, incorporating images and personal recollections of the most beautiful city in the world!

The session, led by MJB and JHB, was primarily aimed at those going on the trip to Paris in October half-term 2011, and it was clear to see that the 6th formers who will be going on the trip will be able to draw from JHB’s vast wealth of knowledge of all things Parisien as well as MJB’s enthusiasm for the French language. Hopefully the trip will prove to be the perfect balance of stunning artwork (taking in visits to the Louvre and le Musée d’Orsay among others), culture and gastronomy.
If pupils would like more details of the trip or to reserve a place, they should see MJB before the end of the week.
