On Sunday 7th March the Under 15 Academy teams from Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur will be showing off their football skills in what should be an exciting match here at Repton.
The match is open to the whole School to watch and is taking place here due to the close links between Repton and Manchester United. Our Director of Football Coaching, Tom Statham, is a Manchester United Academy Coach and just last week our 1st XI played a match at the Man Utd Academy. The club are also also bringing an Academy team to play a Repton XI on Tuesday 16th March. Our football facilities are well up to the top standard required and the match will take place on the best of our 12 pitches, The Square.
Master i/c Football, Matt Carrington commented "We are in the fortunate position of being able to host such a prestigious match. As the match involves Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur it is a fair bet that there might be a couple of future England stars on show. With this game sandwiched between two ISFA Finals it really is an exciting time for football here at Repton."
Kick-off is at 1.30 pm this Sunday.
