Following on from the success of the Sixth Form last Thursday, the Latham L6th-elect woke up on Tuesday 24 August to some fantastic GCSE results. Nationally 22.6% of grades awarded were A* or A, the independent school average is 59.8%, but the grades of the Latham boys were over 62% A* or A, with over 90% being A*-B. All last year's O Block can be proud of their academic achievements, but particular mention should go to Edwin Wilton-Morgan who secured 7 A*s and 2 As in his results. Once again, Latham's reputation for excellence both inside and outside of the classroom remains intact.
