Lands End to John O Groat’s

Elle White L6M spent the last two weeks of the summer holidays supporting her brother in his bid to ride from Lands End to John O Groat’s, a distance of 874 miles! The aim of the cycle ride was to raise money for Diabetes UK in memory of Elle’s mother.

Elle played a critical role in the event, providing the vital support team for her brother in his bid to complete the gruelling ride in just two weeks. This included driving the same 874 miles route, putting up and taking down tents (in some fairly adverse weather conditions!) as well as providing cooked meals for the cyclists. The ride was a huge success and Elle’s brother managed the long distance within the two week target he had set himself with Elle’s support.
