Junior League Winners

After an exciting campaign waged on the fields of Hall Close all term, The Priory finally took the Junior League title by beating Cross 8-1. Goals came from hat-trick hero Phil Jacques, tricky front-runner Ben Clague (2) and star A team import Matt Storer (2) as well as a crisp hit from Deepak Devikanand. It was a marvellous team performance from all of the 15 players involved (at different times it should be added), and all played their part, but Jake Chaffey in particular had a vey influential game. The sight of so many delighted juniors was enough to warm even the frozen spectators who had come to cheer them on.
