School House retained the Junior House Match cricket trophy with a comfortable win over The Orchard on the 1st XI square. After winning the toss School amassed an impressive 170-4 off their allotted 32 overs, thanks mainly to James Gough's 64 and Andrew Findlay's intelligent 40, well-supported by Will Fox-Davies (20*). In reply The Orchard recovered from the loss of two early wickets to put up a good fight but after Buckland and Smith fell their challenge faded, and they were eventually dismissed for 134. Jonny Cons took 3 wickets for School House and there were two wickets apiece for Oliver Welch and Fox-Davies. This was a solid School House performance which brought a deserved victory and let's hope next year's youngsters can complete the hat-trick!
